Brenda Parker is the President of the Illawarra Bonsai Society and Suiseki Australia.  

Her love of trees and rocks goes back a long way to when she was 8years old growing up in Adelaide.  Her Mother was also interested in all gardening aspects as well, so there was always talk in the home of what to plant next. 

 
Brenda loves all trees but the most important ones to her are azaleas, figs, other
flowering trees, deciduous trees, Australian natives and succulents.  

 

Making landscapes is also in her repertoire she loves coming up with unusual and easy
fantasy type of tray landscapes.

 

Over many years she has gained a lot of experience and now shares her knowledge
at many club demonstrations and workshop. 

 

Brenda is a BFA demonstrator.
